Mia Hackett was born in GanZhou, China in 1998 and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. In Spring 2021, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Ceramics and Sculpture as well as minors in Visual Communication and Marketing from Loyola University Chicago. Hackett has been included in an exhibition in 2021, Let Us Vote! Voting Station for Those Who Legally Can’t, as well as  Sensory Overload, at the Ralph Arnold Gallery, Chicago, Illinois. Hackett currently lives and works in Chicago, Illinois.
